Aesthetic Movement ebonised
leather piano stool, with drawer. English. Circa 1880.
The stool has been reupholstered and covered in a 'super luxury' leather from Muirhead, which is Cinnamon in colour, with a matt finish. The leather showing some natural scars.
The frame is in very good original condition, and has been waxed. Showing some very light wear in places. It is sturdy with no loose joints. The drawer works well and has a flush campaign handle.
Originally used as a piano stool with the drawer to hold sheet music, this could also work as a vanity stool or side seat.
