The Oregon Chair Company was incorporated in 1906 and founded by Arthur Kingsley, the manufactory was located on five acres on Macadam Street (three miles from the center of Portland) with access to the Willamette River, so logs could be floated easily to their saw mill. A very stylish set of four Jens Risom (1916-2016) Danish Mid Century Modern teal dining chairs, circa 1960. The chairs have just been professionally reupholstered in a very high quality black & cream checkerboard fabric.
