About the Item
A wonderful antique Victorian oak bench / stool, made in England and dating from around the 1870-1880 period.
It is of outstanding quality, it is a great size, perfect for use as an entry way bench, at the foot of a bed or even as a dining bench.
This stands on beautifully turned legs, the ends are upturned and scroll outwards, they have lovely turned stretchers.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent, with some minor wear and patina remaining beneath the polish here and there.
