Art Deco vintage brown three-legged stool from solid maple tree. The beautiful stool with the warm brown color tone features a saddle seat.
This stool is attributed to the Wiener Werkbund circa 1933, Vienna
Carefully cleaned and shellac hand-polished, so the condition is very good and beautiful and ready to live.
Through the shellac polish the maple tree demonstrates an amazing warmth and luster.
Comfortable and sturdy this stool is perfect for anyone, who loves simple, timeless and quality in design.
During the time period 1926 till 1934 the well known Viennese designers and architects Josef Frank and Josef Hoffmann, although they had different creatively aspects, worked together at the Wiener Werkbund.
This cooperation was due to this fact that the Exposition des arts decoratifs et industriels modernes took place in 1926 in Paris and the Viennese architects moved together for their participation and represented Austria brilliantly.
