The LOTUS Bar Stool by R’Kan reimagines seating as both functional and sculptural. Handcrafted in Cairo, the stool combines a strong solid wood frame, decorative veneers, and precise brass inlay, creating a piece that is refined yet enduring. Inspired by the lotus flower, famous in Ancient Egypt, a symbol of balance and renewal, the design captures harmony between strength and delicacy.
The seat and back are clad in carefully selected veneers, highlighting depth of tone and natural variation in grain. Linear brass inlay adds a luminous rhythm that elevates the composition, while the solid wood base ensures durability and comfort.
Adding to the collection, you’ll also find the LOTUS Console.
Designed by Rania Fahmy, the LOTUS Bar Stool reflects R’Kan’s ethos: blending heritage craftsmanship with modern design to create collectible furniture for everyday living.
