Pair of tabouret stools in the manner of Charlotte Perriand, France, 1950s. Turned wood frames with woven rush seats. Classic French Provincial construction with clean, modern lines characteristic of mid-century design.
Recently refinished and in great vintage condition, with light wear and patina consistent with age and use.
Typical of the rustic modernist aesthetic developed by Charlotte Perriand for French alpine interiors and Les Arcs mountain lodgings, these stools exemplify the harmony between natural materials and functional form central to Perriand’s work.
