The latest member of the Lavitta Collection, the Lavitta Counter Stool continues focusing on the sophisticated union of traditional wooden furniture with contemporary design.
Designed by Timo Mikkonen and Antti Rouhunkoski of Poiat Studio in 2020, the stools follow the lines of the Lavitta Chairs with their tapering legs and rounded corners. The base of the stools is made entirely of veneered and moulded plywood, without any steel parts. The Lavitta Counter Stool and Bar Stool can be customized with a variety of leather and wool upholsteries.
Drawing its influence from the traditional rugged Finnish outdoor furniture, the award-winning Lavitta Collection was designed by Poiat Studio as their first furniture collection for Poiat Furniture.
Manufactured in Finland and Estonia, the members of the Lavitta product family are chairs, dining tables, benches and stools. The counter stools are made of two pieces of moulded plywood, and they can be tailored to different spaces with a variety of leather and wool upholsteries.
