About the Item

A set of 3 limited edition stools designed by Thomas Hayes Studio using salvaged solid rosewood slats from Brazil with powder coated iron frames and chrome tipped feet. Priced individually. Seat measures 14" wide and 14" deep with a seat depth of 12.5". Dimensions below are for largest measurements at the base of the stool. This item is available for custom order and the lead time is 6-8 weeks; sometimes we are able to complete projects faster, so please contact us to inquire. WOOD OPTIONS: Solid Walnut, Oak, Mahogany ($900 each) Rosewood ($100 more per stool) FINISH OPTIONS: Satin Lacquer in Natural, Ebonized, or Bleached, or specially formulated Hand-Rubbed Oil in a variety of custom shades. These oil finishes are flat, water proof and penetrate deeply, bonding with the upper fibers of the wood to create a silky surface that feels “finished” but looks like raw wood. Available in Blanched, Pure, Gray, Chocolate, Charcoal. FRAMES: Flat black finished steel frames also available in dark bronze (very dark brown), white, gray, and others. Bar stool seat height ranges from 29-31", so all our models come in 31" seat height. They can easily be cut down 1" or 2" per your requirements and at no additional charge. This design is also available as counter stools. Condition:
Wear consistent with age and use. Excellent, new with salvaged wood. For any custom pieces with solid wood, we deliberately choose to use beautifully figural wood that may have some irregularities. You can expect much variation in grain and some knots, slight cracks, and small filled knot holes that are naturally occurring in the completed pieces. It is part of our aesthetic and process when making hand crafted pieces to not attempt to hide these natural irregularities that we believe make a piece more beautiful and unique.
