About the Item

This charming early 20th century four-legged upholstered swivel 'Bobbin' stool in ebonised wood with a red velvet seat is in very good condition. It is height adjustable. The highest height is approx. 24" high, deepest approx. 18". The diameter of the seat is approx. 13". The piece has a round, rustic-looking seat made of wood and red velvet. It is supported by four spindle legs. The stool has a simple, understated design that is typical of piano stool furniture. The wood is ebonized black with little loss of color through use and has a warm, natural hue that adds to the overall rustic aesthetic. This adds charm and character to the piece, making it a unique and beautiful example of early 20th century furniture. It would be a great addition to any room, piano or study.
