About the Item
This early 20th century wabi sabi 3 leg workshop stool from Italy is an excellent example of this style. The piece has a octagonal, rustic-looking seat made of wood and is supported by three legs. The stool has a simple, understated design which is typical of wabi sabi furniture. The wood is slightly weathered and has a warm, natural hue, adding to the overall rustic aesthetic. The stool also has a strong sense of history, having been bought from an estate sale in Meran, in the South Tyrollean Area, in Italy. We believe it was used in a workshop or probably as a milking stool at a farm. This adds to the charm and character of the piece, making it a unique and beautiful example of 19th century Wabi Sabi. It would make a great addition to any living room, bedroom, or study.
