This English Curule style stool from the mid-20th century features a rectangular brown embossed leather seat over a savonarola rope style iron base. Each corner of the seat is marked with a round finial, adorned with gadroon shaped motifs. The arched base reminds us of antique Roman seats. Discreet yet elegant, this English leather and iron stool, circa 1950 would bring a charming presence to any room.
