Exceptional Swedish Moose Hunter Trophy Stool, ca 1940
A rare Swedish moose trophy stool made from the antlers of a large bull moose – a true king of the Swedish forests.
It has a natural, organic shape with a rich patina and is full of character.
The black paint is modern, revealing a dark red patina underneath on the wood base, possibly fruitwood, adding depth and charm.
One of a kind, full of personality and history. Its form and presence recall the iconic Tomb Stag Chair by Rick Owens, yet with a distinctly Nordic touch.
