About the Item
Handmade in France in the 1960s, this oak vanity stool is defined by soft corners and subtle detail. Rounded legs curve fluidly into the frame, accented by deeper-toned wood inlays that complement the warmth of the surrounding oak. The seat, lightly domed and upholstered in an ivory and taupe woven wool textile, offers a textural contrast to the frame’s smooth finish.
Perfect at a dressing table, tucked beneath a console, or floating in a dressing room—modest in scale, considered in every line.
Condition: Great vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. The legs of the oak frame show scattered surface scuffs and scratches, primarily concentrated around the feet. Upholstery is clean and taut with no visible stains or tears.
