About the Item
Decorative sculptural "Jonte" stool by Swedish designer and architect Gilbert Marklund (1927-2006), designed in 1969. It's made from solid stained pine and was manufactured late 1960s / 1970s either at Furab or Furusnickarns AB in Lövånger.
The stool is a modern example of Scandinavian simplicity inspired by old Swedish furniture from the countryside.
The stool remains in very good vintage condition.
