About the Item
The Giro stool is one of Tiago Escher's first designs at Estudio Cruzeta. Handcrafted on the lathe, the three-legged stool is constructed entirely with joinery, and made from reclaimed solid wood salvaged from a historically listed building in the city of Joinville, which was constructed in 1913. The wood used is Peroba Rosa (Aspidosperma polyneuron), which is native to the southern Brazilian region.
