This industrial, adjustable stool by Toledo Metal Furniture Co., manufactured in the 1940s, features the signature Toledo star painted steel base with bent maple seat and back. The stool height is adjustable in 6 increments from 24" - 27" by setting the plate under the seat. The backrest is also height adjustable. It's an iconic industrial office/ studio stool while it also works for counter or bar height use.
