About the Item

This is an old stool made in Japan. It was made in the mid-Showa period (1940s-1960s). The top surface is made of cedar wood and the legs are made of iron. Despite the combination of rustic materials, the stool has developed a unique texture due to its use over time. Particularly eye-catching is the rusty appearance of the iron legs. The texture is not artificially created, but is the result of natural aging that gives this stool its unique character. It has a rough yet quiet beauty that is very appealing to those who prefer an industrial feel. Its solid structure provides a sense of stability without wobble. The seat is designed not to rotate.
