This stool is part of Curro Claret’s FB collection — a series of stools created using recycled wood, the distinctive T300 metal connector, and copies of branded bags bought from street vendors.
Each piece explores questions of authorship, consumption, and transformation through craft and social commentary. FB Stool 1 features a striking Louis Vuitton knock-off bag, creatively repurposed as a structural and aesthetic element.
The collection has received multiple design awards and has been exhibited internationally for its bold, socially engaged approach to contemporary design.
About the Designer:
Curro Claret is a Barcelona-based designer known for his socially conscious and experimental work. He studied industrial design at Elisava and at Central Saint Martins in London. Since 1998, he has worked independently on a wide range of projects, often collaborating with social organizations and non-traditional makers.
In parallel with his practice, Claret has taught at Elisava and other institutions in Spain and abroad. His work has been widely exhibited, published, and recognized with various international honors and awards.
