About the Item

Kembo stools feature slender black metal frames with tapered tubular legs and newly reupholstered seats in rich cotton velvet. The stackable design reflects Dutch industrial sensibility from the 1950s-60s, combining functional minimalism with material honesty. Available in burgundy, gray, olive, and gold velvet options that create striking contrast against the worn metal frames. Frames retain original black metal construction with heavy patina and visible wear throughout. The utilitarian tubular leg design tapers to small rubber-tipped feet, emphasizing the lightweight yet sturdy industrial aesthetic. Frames show wear consistent with age and use, including surface oxidation and patina that contrasts beautifully with the fresh velvet upholstery. Sold individually in choice of four velvet colors.
