About the Item

An elegant pair of bar stools, with a strong iron base topped with a round newly upholstered wool bouclé seat. The wool bouclé is from the prestigious The Isle Mill of Scotland, and is made from organic wool, coloured with a natural dye. Four stools available the listing is for two only, please contact us if you are interested in all four. Black frame, twisted iron legs, footrest ring, originally upholstered by Emil Hauenschild, Hamburg with rubber kaotsouk that were using on BMW car seats long before they invent foam. The swivel top of these pieces makes the surrounding more accessible and at the same time stays comfortable. Their mid century Italian style and the fetching maroon colour of the seats mean they would look fantastic in almost any interior, and would really lift the room with their sleek, simple lines. Overall this pair is in a good condition. There is some wear on the base as to be expected after 70 years. Please contact us for international postage quotes.
