About the Item

An outstanding pair of bar stools with new finish and upholstery. The stools' design is in the eccentric style of James Mont, who mixed various styles in his furniture. This pair is newly re-ecushioned and reupholstered with a vintage caramel Italian leather. The seating is outlined with a handsome, expertly crafted piping. The legs are refinished in a smooth black lacquer. Structurally the legs are subtly splayed. At the bottom, they are connected with bars that act as foot rests. Dimensions: 31.5 in. height Base: 14 in. x 14 in. Cushion: 12.5 in. x 12.5 in.

    Refinished. Reupholstered. Wear consistent with age and use. Very good condition. Lacquer and upholstery work are new. The legs have wear and chipping that have been visually absorbed into the black lacquer so that they are not easily visible, while the vintage leather has minor surface scratches.
