Pair of English Aesthetic walnut benches with upholstered over-seats opening to storage compartments above incised aprons, all raised on scrolled "X" supports with ebonized details, all united by a turned stretcher. Circa 1880. Beautifully upholstered with a fine floral brocade and velvet borders.
