About the Item
A stunning pair of antique Swedish Regency stools. They were recently imported from Sweden, they date from around the 1830-1850 period.
They are of outstanding quality with an incredibly beautiful and useful design. They would be perfect as window seats, at the end of a bed or in various settings around the home. The frames are elegant, slender and sturdy, they have beautifully gilded mounts made from gesso.
We have had them re-polished and fully re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent for their age, with just some very minor wear and a few knocks to the gesso in places, commensurate for age.
