A pair of Italian Neoclassical period oval stools from the 18th century with white-painted bodies, parcel-gilt accents and upholstered seats. Born in the later years of the 18th century, each of this pair of Italian stools features an oval buttoned seat raised on a white-painted skirt, with gilt molding. The stools rest on elegant turned and fluted tapering legs, each adorned with exquisite giltwood acanthus leaves motifs. One of the stools showcases remains of Florentine printed paper label. With their comfortable seats, lovely contrasting colors and clean Neoclassical lines, this sophisticated pair of late 18th century Italian oval stools will be a lovely decorative choice to highlight any home, whether placed in a living room or bedroom.
