About the Item
Rare “Palle” stool in pine wood. Produced in the 1970s by K.J. Pettersson
Söner, Sweden. More a room object than seating furniture. Straight sides with seat recess. Great patina. One side of the foot seems to be reglued. Designer unknown, often wrong attributed to Axel Einar Hjorth.
The stool was glued together from several individual pine squared timbers and given its sculptural form. Each stool has its own pattern due to the wood grain, which makes each piece unique.
