The PLOPP stool is a flagship of Zieta Studio and a symbol of Oskar Zięta’s research into the properties and possibilities of metal. The “Polish Air-Pumped Folk Object” proves how the artistic aspects of the design can be summarized in highly advanced engineering forms.
Challenging the material is one of the fundamental areas of Zieta Studio’s explorations. Our prevailing focus is on form and its deformation, but lately we have been more and more attracted to colouring as shaping.
The Cotton Candy collection is a certain manifesto of expressive matte. Shifting our classic high-polished Inox objects into matte shades unravelled unexplored chapters of a new interpretation of shine. The Cotton Candy Collection is a provocative twist on sensual perception. Candy-like impressions are achieved thanks to experiments with matte shades of powder coatings. This out-of-the-ordinary effect evokes carefree childhood memories that seem to smell like cotton candy.
