About the Item
A very well crafted Stool with peg construction which has a fine seat made from a single slab cut from a tree clearly showing the age rings to great effect. Time softened and well finished with a soft hand and great solidity. The Stool may be used to sit or could be used as a side table or sculpture stand.
Dimensions: Seat diameter 13.5”. Width 18” by depth 18” by height 20.75”.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various acceptable and enhancing signs of age include stable wood checking, and general expected wear which has been ameliorated by a later refinishing with a soft satin polish to the legs with the Stool presenting in a particularly fine Primitive manner.
