About the Item
A gorgeous and extremely rare set of three late Mid Century leather and wrought iron barstools in super vintage condition. Attributed to Ralph Lauren and likely made in Europe in the late 1970s for Ralph Lauren Home, these timelessly elegant bar or under-counter stools are effortlessly stylish and ooze quality refinement. Their understatedly grand Neoclassical styling and refined yet laid back ‘Lake Como villa’ aesthetic will enhance any interior.
Theses sumptuous and sturdy barstools feature hand-forged, robust tubular wrought iron frames – a sleek and classy blend of curved and straight lines, they display gorgeous scrolled crest rails, charming framed backs and eye-catching Art Deco/crinoline/curule style semi-circular stretchers finished with iron wrapping detailing.
Covered in the original excellent quality hand-stitched and richly toned dark tan leather for the ultimate chic ‘Villa Fresco’ look, these splendid barstools are brimming with quality and style.
All in all these are very impressive and super high-end designer barstools, which won’t fail to impress in any setting. We currently have three of these extremely rare barstools and this listing is for all three – please see our other listing for a pair or single barstool.
CONDITION
These super barstools are in very-good-to-excellent vintage condition. Beautifully crafted, reassuringly sturdy and structurally sound, they have only minor marks to the beautiful leather to show their age, which if anything only increases their vintage appeal as genuine late Mid Century pieces. Overall these are gorgeous, rare and incredibly stylish barstools in super vintage condition and if well looked after they should be just as fabulous for generations to come – please see the photos.
