A 1950s Spanish stool, crafted in solid oak with a rich, warm patina. The seat is composed of wide cognac leather straps, tightly handwoven across the frame and secured with prominent tack fittings. Turned legs and a box stretcher base nod to traditional Iberian joinery, while the robust materials and graphic weave evoke a more rustic modernism.
This piece offers a grounded yet artisanal presence, equally suited as occasional seating or a sculptural accent.
Condition: Great vintage condition, with a patinated finish, watermarks, and scratches on the leather. The wooden frame has natural wood splits that have occurred over time, which do not impact the usability or structure of the stool.
