Created in Sweden during the last decade of the 19th century, this painted stool features a square seat topped with a custom cushion, sitting above an elegant apron adorned with carved floral motifs. Raised on four cabriole legs with shells on the knees, the stool is painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste for light palettes.
