A Swedish Rococo Revival painted wooden stool from the late 19th century, with cabriole legs, carved motifs and new upholstery. Created in Sweden during the last decade of the 19th century, this painted stool features a square seat topped with a custom cushion, sitting above an elegant apron adorned with carved floral motifs. Raised on four cabriole legs with shells on the knees, the stool is painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste for light palettes.
