About the Item

"Pirkka” side stool by Finnish designer Ilmari Tapiovaara (1914-1999), published by Laukann Puu in the 1950's. The curved, stained and varnished seat rests on a black-painted four-legged base. A few traces of use and missing paint on the wood, but in good overall condition. A Scandinavian design classic. The wood shows some rubbing, but the stool is in good overall condition. LP4763-4764
