About the Item

1950s barrel back swivel chair designed by Henry P. Glass for J.G. Furniture. This chair features a beautiful barrel back, accentuated with channel tufting. The even back swoops down to the seat. All floating on tapered brass legs. The chair has a return to center feature. This chair would go well with designs by Vladimir Kagan, Gio Ponti, Edward Wormley, Carlo De Carli, Robsjohn Gibbings, and Tommi Parzinger. Unsigned. Dimensions: 30”W x 28.5”D x 26”H x 17.5”SH Condition: Good vintage condition. Original swivel mechanism works well. Shipping: Please allow at least 4-6 weeks for delivery depending upon your distance from the East Coast and our shippers routes.
