About the Item

Very delicate and rare hand carved wooden piano swivel chair made in mid 19th century during Napoleon III period. Having no restoration so far the chair is even still wearing in its original ostrich upholstery. The back of the chair is curved and very comfortable. There are floral details carved at the top of the back and at the end of the armrests as well. Lovely piece for many types of interior! France, circa 1860.
