About the Item

An exceptional blended set of 8 Hardwood Windsor Armchairs with fine traditional form and particularly well-grained seats. In a Natural tone with classic hoop backs with spindles and openwork carved splats. The turned splayed legs with a curved front stretcher and two angled stretchers in back. There are some height differences which do not detract from the great presentation. Measures: H. 40", W. 20 3/4", Depth varies 25 and 32", seat H. varies 15 1/2 and 17 1/2" (Arm height variable with the highest being 27.25”) Condition: Please see all detail photos. Most of the seats time-worn with some old gouges and two with stable age cracks on the backs at the spindles, small stable age cracks on a few crest rails, one spindle broken (See photo), time-worn finishes but a very desirable age patina with the Set presenting exceptionally well.
