About the Item
A fine and unusual Wing Chair form with an interesting custom upholstery which utilizes a fragment of Antique needlepoint tapestry depicting a Stylized Garden scene with floral spray. Raised on carved cabriole legs with a stylized carved stretcher support. The frame is upholstered with frilled trim and a decorative floral upholstered upper half of the seat back.
Dimensions: 25” wide by 20.5” deep by 45.25” high. Seat height 17.
Condition: For restoration. Please see detail photos. There are various signs of age including loose joinery, losses and chips to the feet and base and fraying and worn fabric which do not diminish the fine English Cottage presentation.
