About the Item

Pair of late 19th Century English wingback chairs have been refreshed using new off-white hide and Jaguar green mohair upholstery and the original hand carved Mahogany claw/ball feet habe been refinished to the original color. The chairs have exaggeratered tall backs and wide sinuous side panels. Chairs have been restored with new padding, springs, and webbing. Hand hammered bronze nailheads around the perimeter completes the update to these period pieces. Chairs can be used comfortably in a variety of settings from an Antique Estate to a Modern NYC skyscraper.
