About the Item
A large, vintage, wingback chair in the manner of Frits Henningsen, featuring a high curved back, pointed arms, button tufting, and tall curved legs with carved detail. This unique, large scale piece has been redone in a vintage, cocoa brown, distressed leather which really gives is that 1930s flare. It is solid, sturdy, and surprisingly comfortable. The voluptuous lines are quite stunning, giving the chair a unique and eye-catching presence.
The chair in is excellent vintage condition. The leather shows the perfect amount of cosmetic wear, as do the legs. It presents beautifully, and is ready to be placed in a high end interior. A stunning alternative to the $50,000-$70,000 original.
