About the Item
Distressed pair of 19th century English Georgian wingback library chairs. The distinctive pair of armchairs feature a mahogany frame covered with faded cigar leather having brass tack nail head on the border trim. Crafted in the chesterfield style with a tufted seat back. The original dark cigar or brown leather has completely faded with a beautifully aged patina full of character. The leather has visible wear and losses as seen in photos. Classic English style with an inviting charm ready for cognac and a grand fireplace.
