About the Item
Pair of wing back chairs with solid and sturdy heavily carved frames with bell flowers, egg/dart and foliate motifs. The chairs with fixed back and seat, manchettes, custom upholstered in a neutral textured velvet type fabric and accentuated with a shimmery braided trim. The chairs raised upon carved, swirled and tapering legs.
Dimensions: 28 3/4" W, 29" D, 17 1/2" seat height, 40" H to top of posts.
Condition: Please see detail photos for condition. Various signs of age and use include stable slightly open joinery on the trim (See photo), a loss to one inside scroll carving and a few scratches to the frames all being noted for accuracy as the presentation is particularly refined.
