These are a very nice pair indeed, the frame and legs are solid mahogany, quite heavy, the legs have been expertly hand carved and look amazing from every angle, they depict Lion's Hairy Paw's as mentioned, a style that dates back to the 17th century
In terms of the condition we have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, there will be normal age and use related patina marks here and there
