About the Item
This antique mahogany multi-drawer apothecary dentist cabinet was manufactured by the American Cabinet Company in the early 20th century circa 1915. The cabinet features 7" deep recessed upper cabinets with etched glass panels on the doors. The interior of the upper cabinets is painted white with milk glass shelves. Between the lower and upper cabinets is a wonderfully patinated beveled mirror backsplash. The lower cabinet features a milk glass top at 44" height with twenty-five drawers in various sizes from short to tall that once stored necessary medical instruments and supplies. It stands on a plinth base with clear faceted glass pulls. It's a gorgeous piece, rich in history and charm that can be used for any purpose.
