About the Item
An American Art Deco step-back dental supply cabinet manufactured by the Hamilton Cabinet Co., Two Rivers, WI. Often attributed to Donald Deskey, it is a great example of Art Deco design. The wood is walnut with chrome details.
The top cabinet features a single hinged door and super streamlined metal handle pull opening to an upper interior compartment housing a shelf with sockets for medicine bottles. The black plate glass surface is H 32” W 29.25” D 11.5”. The lower cabinet has two front drawers and two front doors with original vintage metal Deco pulls.
The cabinet is marked twice, both are visible in the straight on photograph with the doos and top cabinet open. One mark is in the center of the opened top cabinet and the other is on the floor of the bottom cabinet, just to the left of the divider.
The cabinet is in very good condition with the original finish.

- Condition:Repaired: There are faint scratches to the glass. There is also a quarter size repair to a shallow chip in the glass, along the back edge, left of center. difficult to see. One pull has a small chip, please see detail photographs. Wear consistent with age and use.
