About the Item

18th century small English oak coffer circa 1790. 3 fielded panels to the front each flanked by a beaded decoration. Good colour and patina, lid opens on original hinges to reveal storage space. Expected age splits between planks to top and surface marks, lock missing, evidence of dead treated worm to feet. Good colour and patina.
