Antique Handpainted Wedding Chest, Hungary, 1843. This exquisite chest exhibits splendid hand-painted floral motifs executed in pretty reds, blues, and yellows cast against a dark ground. The face of the chest bears the date in which it was made (1843) as pictured in the images. Excellent antique condition.
