A unique antique bridal chest dating from 1753, from southern Germany. This piece of furniture is attractively and traditionally painted in a soft light blue with floral motifs. This original 18th-century paintwork is weathered and worn, giving the chest an authentic and distinctive appearance. The chest's large size makes it not only decoratively impressive but also offers ample storage space.
The chest has been completely inspected and professionally restored, with an eye for originality and character. The construction is solid, the paintwork is largely intact, and the patina has been preserved. Old, occasionally present woodworm marks have been checked and treated.
