Charming grand country English folk art blanket chest or trunk crafted from pine. The chest features a painted Georgian manor house facade on three sides. The house is decorated with neoclassical architecture and Greco-Roman motifs in the Trompe l'oeil style. The painted finish has a desirable aged patina and weathered finish as an aged house in the country English provincial farmhouse aesthetic. The large case has a hinged top and iron handles on each side. The interior has open storage space inside. The box could serve as a blanket chest, side table, drinks table, or decorative display.
