More information coming soon… This iron-strapped trunk from the 1800s exudes character. Hand-carved in northern India, the large trunk has inherent undulations, most noticeable at the top. All sides are covered in a lattice of iron strapwork, as is the lid.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Good antique condition. Inherent wood bends, particularly top, which has stains. Commensurate age separations. Light interior buildup. Fleabites and slight iron oxidation. Missing attaching screws/nails, although the iron is stable.
