About the Item

The entire chest with framed square panels in three rows on the top, and four on the front, sides, and back. The front panels have added X form decorative pieces and all frames have brass roundels. The front top band with hammered brass appliques. The top has turned finials at the corners, the whole raised on block feet. Strengthened with iron bands on the top and sides, with a front lock with chains. Condition: good with expected wear, cracks and weathering, losses to the feet, rust to the iron considering the age.
