Painted Swedish folk art chest, dating from 1845. The chest is painted a warm oxblood red and decorated with decorative brass brass accents. The paint shows beautiful, weathered wear, adding to its historic character. It has light signs of wear consistent with its age. One key plate is missing. The interior is practically organized with a storage compartment and two drawers.
