This large bleached oak bookcase is statuesque in size and is impressive with carved family crest with crown, half column details and more. At 8' tall, the 3 glass door panes add to its visual impact displaying any collection held within; adjustable shelving in upper cabinet adds to the versatility of this bookcase. This cabinet is built in 2 sections, making it easier to install the heavy oak lower cabinet with three doors and the upper display cabinet with glass doors. Age related cracks and signs of wear/distress are expected in an antique that has been used for generations such as this. Some of locks still function with key, a key used as pull in remaining doors.
